Burton meets Skellington

Talking about meeting your maker! Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter visited the Disneyland Paris park today and got to meet with Jack Skellington and Sally!

PS: Im friends with this Jack, I was particularly excited about this piece of news and I can’t believe I was not there! :(

DISNEY FUN FACT- The Black Cauldron

The three witches of Morva were, at one point, considered to move as one, according to this Tim Burton concept sketch. 

Unfortunately the final designs in the film don’t utilize Tim’s vision, and Orddu, Orwen and Orgoch ended up looking like average witches. Wouldn’t that have been fun? (and also quite disturbing :P )

Robert Stromberg is the new director for MALEFICIENT

After Tim Burton had to abandon the project for this Disney film because of lack of time, debutant director and production designer for Alice in Wonderland and Avatar Robert Stromberg will fill in his shoes.

The film Maleficient, starring Angelina Jolie, will be the story of Sleeping Beauty from the perspective of the villainess’ eyes, and will be premiered in 2013.
