FROZEN IS THE FIRST FILM TO PRESENT TWO OFFICIAL PRINCESSES
It has been confirmed that the two leading characters from the upcoming Disney film, Frozen, will both enter the official Disney Princess Franchise, as Merida will later this year. These two sisters are princesses in the story, and although it was informed that Anna would join the franchise, Elsa joining is hot news. The campaign will take place November 2014 when the film is released.

FROZEN GOING THROUGH INTENSIVE PRODUCTION
In less than 9 months time, Frozen will be released. Three sequences have already been animated, such as the main confrontation between Anna and Elsa (the Snow Queen).
The second and third acts of the film have been written and aproved, while the first one is been slighlty modified so the relationships between the leading characters will be more defined and solid, so the audience will follow it better and identify with not only the characters, but the story.
Frozen is being directed by Chris Buck (Tarzan) and Jennifr Lee (Wreck-it Ralph) with six original songs telling the story of the Snow Queen. It will be in theatres 21st November.
PRINCESS ANNA WILL JOIN THE OFFICIAL PRINCESS COURT
I know we have heard about this already, but there is new intel! Merida (voiced by Kelly MacDonald) was the last princess to join the Disney Princess Club, but she will have her official ceremony just like Rapunzel did. It will take place during the first months of 2013, in Scotland.
Then, a few months later, on November 27th to be exact, Disney’s Frozen will be released. Anna is the sister of the Snow Queen and has to go in a quest to find Elsa and free the kingdom from a freezing curse. It been confirmed that she will be the twelfth official Disney princess. So as it appears to be a trend, she might get an official ceremony too. Wonder where it would be.

It has been confirmed that Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel have started recording songs and scenes for the upcoming Disney film, Frozen. The Tony Award winner, Idina Menzel, is again, to be part of a disney film (the first one being Enchanted). She will be voicing the lead character and villain of the film, Elsa, The Snow Queen. THE TWELFTH DISNEY PRINCESS
We know that Merida has officially joined the gang of Disney Princesses as the eleventh princess. However, who knew the twelfth was going to come so soon?
Princess Anna, from the upcoming Disney film, Frozen, is a princess voiced by actress Kristen Bell. The film, based on Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen, will be coming to theaters next year, and princess Anna is said to be joining the rest of royal ladies in the Disney Princess Franchise, just like Pixar’s Merida just did.
FROZEN to come to theaters next year
This CGI film produced by Walt Disney Animation studios will be in theaters November 2013, and has already a cast and crew!
The film will be directed by Chris Buck (Tarzan, Enchanted) and is an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen . The project is being overseen by Pixar’s chief John Lasseter, as many CGI Walt Disney Pictures films. The story is about a kingdom cursed in an eternal winter as said by a prophecy, so Anna (Kristen Bell) must join Kristoff to find the Snow Queen, Elsa, played by Idina Menzel (Nancy Tremaine in Enchanted), so they can put end to the spell.
The songs and music score is being written by Tony winners Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
I’m just sad the film’s music is not being done by my fave disney composer, Alan Menken, anymore. He wrote a song called Love Can’t be Denied performed by Bryan d’Arcy James back when the project was called The Snow Queen and before it was aborted. I reblogged the song a while ago, if u wanna listen to it here it is!
Kirsten Bell will be voicing the Snow Queen in Frozen, the animated adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen story by Walt Disney Studios, that will premiere in 2013.
Disney Studios has put The Snow Queen project back on wheels, it has just changed the name! Frozen will be officially expected in theaters in 2013!
Here is some concept art of the film to celebrate!

Ugh… I don’t really know the last news about The Snow Queen, but I know it was put on “hold” :( Like, seriously, why? It’s just perfect. You have Linda Woolverton, Alan Menken, Glen Keane, 2D animation… And it’s based on a fairy tale by Andersen. It looks like it could be a great Disney movie, just like the ones from the Renaissance.
But I guess Disney is more worried about other things now… I just hope this changes soon.
Anyways, this song is absolutely beautiful and I’m glad that at least we can enjoy it.

Project aborted by the Walt Disney Studios that was supposed to be premiered in 2003.
The team behind the film consisted of legends such as John Lasseter, John Musker, Ron Clements and the animator of Treasure Planet. Still, although aborted for that date, it was put on hold and there are rumours that it shall be renewed on 2013.
