This AMAZING working 1/87th scale model of Disneyland’s Splash Mountain was built by one of our readers. Matt Camisa began building it two years ago and it’s approximately 64% complete today.

Walt formally introduced the idea of Disneyland as an internal note for the first time. It was called &#8220;Mickey Mouse Park" and it should be entered in a train, he said. The project, as we all know, was finished in 1955, first time the "happiest place on earth" opened its doors.

Red Carpet for World Premiere of “The Lone Ranger” at Disneyland California Adventure Park

This past saturday the red carpet was buzzing when the film’s stars like Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer and Ruth Wilson stepped for the premiere in the California park.

Once the red carpet arrivals concluded, the cast was introduced in front of one of the two enormous trains used in the making of the movie, followed by a confetti blast of ranger badges!
