It’s done! About an hour ago, Merida was officially crowned “Disney Princess” in Magic Kingdom!

Merida’s Royal Coronation will take place in the Walt Disney World resort this saturday. There will be a celebratory breakfast at the Contemporary Resort first.

Who wants an invite too?

MERIDA TO BE CROWNED MAY 11TH IN WALT DISNEY WORLD

It was known Merida, from Oscar-winning Disney-Pixar’s film Brave, was to be crowned this May. Besides from the scottish ceremony, there will be a coronation celebrate in Walt Disney World in May 11th. 

Merida will be joining the royal Disney Princess Franchise as the eleventh Disney Princess, probably the reason why they chose May 11th. For the people who will be there during these dates, be sure not to miss it, for it will be quite the event with all the Disney Princesses together.

Next in the Royal line are Princess Anna and Elsa, from the upcoming Disney film Frozen, who will be joining the club this November.

I just found the picture of this painting.. It’s by John Singer Sargent, and she’s Lady Macbeth. Is this intentional? Did they draw inspiration from the painting?

WHOA. Yep, I think you found their inspiration. Everything from the green dress to the gold hair wraps is pretty much spot on with the painting!

She’s such a badass.
