Concept Art for The Gremlins

A film project for the 1940’s that never was fulfilled. The story was created by Roald Dahl (the children’s book writer) that united with Walt Disney was going to the big screen. During World War II there was a urban legend of the gremlins in the planes to be the responsables for technical trouble and incident in air! In the end the movie was not made, but some animated shorts were! So you see, the cartoons with Bugs Bunny (Falling Hare) and Disney’s Russian Rhapsody were results from this aborted Disney film.

Concept Art for Newt

This was a project that would have been the thirteenth Disney-Pixar film to be premiered in 2010! The two heroes were the tritons Newt and Brooke. The project was in charge of the animator Gary Rydstrom, but was definitely discarted.
So sad, as the concept art for this film is amazing! I will be posting more of it, but I guess we will never be able to see what adventures these two characters would have gotten into.
